Essence of North Africa
loved producing this album! .. it started after a few jam sessions with percussionist Jack McCarthy, where we seemed to end up in North Africa .. I co-wrote a few tracks with Jack on this one. Ney wizard Louai Henawi played on the album also. And I got to feature my quarter-tone electric guitar!

Kaviraj Singh Dhadyalla (santoor), Shahbaz Hussain (tabla) and Jay Arya (sitar). with a 28 piece string ensemble, recorded at Syncron Stage, Vienna! I had an Aghan rubab specially made for this project, which really added something special to the album.

The Wolf of Baghdad
Glenn has produced and mixed the soundtrack to the animation film, The Wolf of Baghdad (a memoir of a lost homeland) by Carol Isaacs. The 8 piece Middle Eastern ensemble recorded the score at Livingston Studios in London.
Music Action International
Glenn is currently working as producer and music facilitator for the charity organisation Music Action International. The charity works with refugees in Manchester, providing music workshops and performances. Glenn is currently producing a new album for this project.
Hamsa
Bringing together the music of Jewish eastern Europe, Greece and Turkey, Hamsa take elements of Klezmer, Fasil and Demotika into new repertoire, using rhythms and grooves both reminiscent of the shtetl and the souk. With Merlin Shepherd, Glenn Sharp, Carol Isaacs, Guy Schalom and Simon C Russell.

Glenn works as a composer for the production music library Audio Network. He has produced 20+ albums of post-classical, ambient and traditional world music. This music has been used extensively on film, TV and advertising worldwide. Glenn uses the finest session musicians aswell as world class string ensembles recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
SEGA / Creative Assembly
Glenn has worked as a session musician with Creative Assembly / SEGA since 2010. He has provided numerous ethnic instruments and guitar sessions for Napoleon Total War, Rome II, Attila, Warhammer and Troy. Glenn also composed solo Spanish guitar pieces for the 'Peninsular Campaign' of Napoleon Total War.

Electronic Empires
Electronic Empires are Glenn Sharp, Jaydev Mistry and Bushamann. This project was born out of an Arts Council commission in association with the Band on the Wall. Bringing together experimental electronica with heavy beats, dub bass and world sounds. The launch project featured guests Jasdeep Singh Degun, Olivia Moore, Denis Jones, Jote Osahn, Alan Keary and Renu Hossain. Now, Electronic Empires continues to explore new musical boundaries with these 3 Manchester musicians at the core.

Mexico - Earth's Festival of Life
Glenn worked as a soloist on the score for BBC's Mexico - Earth's Festival of Life, composed by Michael Kruk. Glenn recorded Spanish guitar, acoustic guitar and mandolin on this documentary series.

This project is a great accompaniment to any modern Arabian documentary/news program. The music is very authentic, all performed by live musicians who specialise in this genre of music.
Jadid Ensemble
The Jadid Ensemble's debut album Sigh of the Moor is an atmospheric journey through Spain to the Middle-East and beyond. The album features instruments including flamenco guitar, oud, Turkish saz, violin, Middle-Eastern percussion, flutes, neys and mizmar. Written, produced and mixed by Glenn Sharp.

Baladi Blues Ensemble
Glenn is a guest artist with Guy Schalom's 'Baladi Blues Ensemble'. In the Baladi Blues Ensemble, Guy unites three of Egypt's most renowned master musicians: saxophonist Ahmed El Saidi, quarter-tone accordionist Sheik Taha and master percussionist Hassan Reevis. The band is joined by frame drum wizard Adam Warne on percussion.
Arun Shenoy - Rumdadoodle
Glenn has composed and performed flamenco guitar for the debut album by Arun Shenoy. 'Rumbadoodle' is a pop / rock / flamenco fusion album, which was nominated for a GRAMMY Award in 2013.
Gone - Stone Flowers with Box Tale Soup
Music Action International present a brand new, original piece of theatre created by the award winning Box Tale Soup and refugee music collective Stone Flowers. Glenn plays electric guitar and electric saz in this theatre show.

Tremble - Ballroom Blues (different records)
Tremble are Tracey Elizabeth and Glenn Sharp, who met via Manchester's vibrant music scene and immediately sparked. Ballroom Blues is their debut album, following on from the release of their single "40%". It is a melancholic series of pop songs fused together by dark filters, majestic orchestration and delicate sweeps of guitar.

Testimony are led by Emmanuela Yogolelo, a leading member of Beating Wing Orchestra, whose performance with Amadou and Mariam was a sensation at Manchester International Festival 2009.
